Pediatric cancer remains the first cause of mortality by disease in children older than 1 year old. Treatments are heavy and often very long.
The association "les bagouz'à manon" transfers all of the donations and the tackings bound to the sale of jewels to the research on pediatric cancers and to the improvement of the quality of life of sick children.

Let's introduce ourselves - Kiki, treasurer
It's from Angoulême that I send you my small message and I am KIKI (in fact Christine). Nobody is perfect! I firt met NANOU in Bordeaux during one of our numerous common stays at the Children Hospital .
Manon went away and Claire still continues her fight against the disease (Wilms' Tumor with many lung relapses).
As she is 10 now and in spite of her two relapses in 2004, Claire is an adorable young girl ( only for me ! She thinks she's a tall one) with a real strong temperament and always decided to fight against her disease. The real good news of this week is that the last CT scan is really good .
One year ago , I "caught the virus" ( another french expression which means that this is to become a real passion !!!) for beads and when, after some months of silence, as I was in contact with Nanou again , it is with great enthusiasm that I joined her which is for me an example of courage, of joy for life and of generosity. Actually, I increased my own production of "bagouz" (as I told you before, it's a funny name for rings) and to be part of such a team gives me wings.
I'm looking forward to coming to Paris and meet all of you, girls !

 My name is Anne, Nanou for all my close friends. I am a Childless mum of her pretty princess, Manon, "flown away from me" on July 8th, 2002 , after 4 years of a long and hard fight against the neuroblastome. Manon would have had 17 years old this year, on August 9th, day of the Saint Amour (holly love) in the fench calendar ... I am also the enchanted mum of a sweet love named Léo, a small lion born on february 25th, 1999! In fact, he is much more "pisces" than "leo" ! (in french we use the same word to say fishes or pisces and to say lion or leo ) So, Léo seems to be more "fish" than "Lion", if you understand what I mean !!!!!!!
