My name is Marianne, mum of Marine and Renan, my 2 miracles.

A beautiful day of September 99, the day she started her first year in secondary school, Marine ( almost 11 years old) had sudden pains in the stomach. 3 days later, on September 9th, as we say in France "the sky was falling on our heads" : Neuroblastoma was pronounced.

10 days later, we had the confirmation of this wretched disease with bone marrow metastases , same story as Manon, everything the same , same road, heavy fight during 4 years marked out by fears and by hope Marine, magnificent young girl so brave, so lucid and so courageous, taught us Life and its true values.

One night, on July 13th, 2003, she left us to join all the stars in the sky, Manonette was already there to welcome her. Marine is always there, still with us each and every day and thanks to the presence of her little brother, Renan, which is now 8 years old, we continue to survive her. One year ago, I met the "sparkling" Nanou , we became friends, without asking us any questions,
that was an evidence . Our daughters moved closer to us and our sons really liked each other . Two little blond boys, two little "bombs" ( in France, we also say : 2 terrible terrors !!!) which do not leave us a lot of respite but which give us so much love !!!!!

Here we are now, with my own story. That's also the reason why I will always be there to help Nanou in this new adventure : the "bagouz' à Manon" association (Manon's rings association ).
The Bagouz'girls call me Barbapepette too, our "national" Nanou gave me this nickname !
